IWLCA ranks CUA 13th in this week's Top 20 poll
WASHINGTON – After not competing last week and taking part
in a Habitat for Humanity project in South Carolina, CUA moved down
one spot in this week’s IWLCA national poll to No. 13. The
Cards have played just twice this season, splitting their two
games.
CUA opened its season with a 15-7 victory over Frostburg State on
February 26 at home. Lindsay Brophy and Caroline DiBartolomeo
combined for nine goals in the win.
On March 2, CUA fell to the nation’s No. 2 ranked team,
Salisbury. The Cardinals then traveled south for spring break,
where they helped build a house through the Habitat for Humanity
program.
No. 13 CUA is back in action on Wednesday afternoon when the
Cardinals head to Pennsylvania to face No. 10 York. Start time is
set for 4 p.m.
