Cardinals Featured in DC Press Box

WASHINGTON - The Catholic University women's lacrosse team has dominated its Landmark Conference opponents. Now, the Cardinals hope to match that success during the NCAA tournament. 

Coach Meghan McDonogh's team went 6-0 against its league foes during the regular season, and posted victories against Scranton and Susquehanna during the Landmark Conference tournament to clinch its sixth NCAA tournament berth out the past seven years. The Cardinals, who missed the postseason last spring for the first time since 2008, will take a 12-5 overall record into their May 10 tournament opener at Franklin & Marshall.
