Ambrosetti named All-Region
WASHINGTON - Junior midfielder Kristi
Ambrosetti (Edgewater, Md./St. Mary's High) has been named
to the South Atlantic Regional All-American second team in women's
lacrosse for the second consecutive year.
Ambrosetti, a two-time second-team All-Conference selection, was Catholic University's third-leading scorer this season with 36 points (28 goals and eight assists). She led the team in draw controls (46) and was second in shot percentage (.459). She equaled her career high in goals with seven in a 13-8 victory against Whittier.
For her career, Ambrosetti has tallied 109 points on 88 goals and 21 assists. She posted career highs in goals (53) and assists (12) in 2000.
