SALISBURY, Md. - Catholic was no match for Salisbury as the Sea Gulls used an eight-goal burst midway through the first half to down the Cardinals 26-8 in a Capital Athletic Conference matchup. Five Salisbury players scored three goals apiece. Junior Anna Gateau (Annapolis, Md./St. Mary's) and sophomore Ali Jarden (Red Bank, N.J./Red Bank Catholic) led Catholic three goals each.

Down 13-5 at the half, the Sea Gulls (4-4, 2-1 CAC) then scored 10 unanswered goals to break the game open.

Senior Liz Wallace (East Northport, N.Y./St. Anthony's) and freshman Megan Willet (Arnold, Md./St. Mary's) also tallied for Catholic (4-7, 1-3 CAC).

The Cardinals get back to action on Saturday as the Cardinals take on Ohio Wesleyan at DuFour Field at 1 p.m.
