Four Cardinals named to IWLCA academic honor roll

WASHINGTON – The Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced its 2010 Academic Honor Roll on Monday and four Cardinals were named to the list including Kate Narzikul, Laura Haring, Lauren Sheils and Melissa Brashear.  In all, 184 student-athletes from 81 Division III institutions were honored.

The four Cardinals named to the list were among a group of 45 honor roll students from across the nation who were also members of teams that participated in the NCAA Tournament. 

CUA won its third consecutive Landmark Conference championship in 2010 and also advanced to its third straight NCAA Tournament.  The Cardinals finished the season strong, winning 12 of their final 14 games as well as an NCAA Tournament game for the third straight season.
