The Cardinals led 13-7 with 19 minutes remaining in regulation, before the Beavers scored six straight goals to force the extra session. After Babson scored the first goal of OT, CUA netted two straight, including the game-winner from freshman Mary Clare Regan.</description>

The Spartans led 10-3 at halftime, but CUA fought back in the 2nd half, pulling to within 12-7 with 17 minutes remaining. That was as close as the Cards would get however, as they suffered their second straight loss to a top-10 opponent.</description>
