Women's Soccer to host summer clinics in August

WASHINGTON – The CUA women's soccer program will host two summer clinics on Thursday, August 1, and on Friday, August 2 at the DuFour Center.

The CUA Summer Clinics are open to all high school student-athletes who aspire to take their game to the next level.  Each day is designed to give players the opportunity to showcase their soccer abilities to Head Coach J.P. Sousa and his coaching staff.  Returning varsity players from the 2012 Catholic University Women's Soccer Team will also participate as assistant clinic instructors and interact with all players.

The focus of the clinic will be on technical skills as well as tactical training in a college atmosphere.  Participants will have the opportunity to play on one of the top facilities in Washington, D.C., which features a turf stadium field, a Bermuda grass match field and a natural grass training field.  Cost is $60/day per player.

AS OF JULY 19 THE SUMMER CLINIC ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 2 IS FULL. SPACE IS STILL AVAILABLE FOR THURSDAY, AUGUST 1.
