Cardinals honored with Team Academic Award from NSCAA
WASHINGTON – The CUA women’s soccer team has been
recognized by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America
(NSCAA) for its academic performance in the 2011-12 academic
year. The squad earned a 3.29 grade point average under Head
Coach JP Sousa to receive the award.
To qualify for the annual NSCAA Team Academic Award, a team must

After a slow start to the 2012 season, CUA regrouped nicely and
earned its fifth Landmark Conference Tournament berth. The
Cardinals placed five student-athletes on the All-Conference Teams,
including three on the First Team.
CUA loses a strong senior class of 11 for next season, but will
return 19 student-athletes.
