STENGLE NAMED CAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK (November 5, 2005)

WASHINGTON, D.C.-- CUA keeper Kim Stengle has been named the Capital Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Player Of The Week.

Stengle posted three wins in the CAC Tournament to give CUA their first CAC title and berth in the NCAA Tournament. Stengle recorded a shutout against St. Mary's in the semifinals and garnered five saves in the championship game versus York. This season, Stengle has a 0.77 goals against average and 34 saves.

Stengle and her CUA teammates will face Lynchburg College this Saturday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at 7:30 p.m.
