WASHINGTON-- Leading the conference, CUA registered four women on the 2008 Landmark Conference All-Landmark First Team and one second team nod.

Two seniors were honored for the Cardinals.  Suzie Peters (Nanuet, N.Y./Albertus Magnus) was a second team selection after recording 10 points and three goals for CUA this season.  Classmate Elyse Bellardini (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) received first team honors after earning offensive player of the week on November 3.  Bellardini finished the season with six goals and 15 points, both among CUA leaders.

Juniors Diana Spadaro (Stony Point, N.Y./Albertus Magnus) and Helene Nicoletti (Haddonfield, N.J./Haddonfield) both grabbed first team honors.  Nicoletti earned first team honors for her strong defense and solid play throughout the year while Spadaro's speed through the midfield accounted for five goals and a team-leading six assists.

Kelly Donnelly (Garden City, N.Y./Garden City) only stands 5 feet 1 inch, but her tenacious play from the forward position helped the team by leading with 18 points and seven goals.

The All-Landmark Team includes a first and second team with 12 honorees on each team, with the selections being made by position. The voting for the All-Conference Team took place after the conclusion of the regular season and prior to the start of the Landmark postseason.

The Cardinals will continue their season in the ECAC tournament on Wednesday, November 12, at 5 p.m. at Westminster's Burry Stadium.
