November 8, 2008

BETHLEHEM, PA-A 10 shot advantage and dominating 11-2 on corner kicks CUA fell 1-0 in double overtime to Moravian College Saturday.

Suzie Peters led the Cardinals with six shots, while Kelly Donnelly added five of her own.  The two, however, only managed six of those eleven shots on net.

Tere Rossi and Caitlin Corrigan battled hard for two full halves and the first overtime period without a slip up.  Late in the second extra session, the left side of CUA's defense broke down and Arielle Caldas took advantage.  Caldas beat Rossi from eight yards and secured the Landmark Conference title for Moravian.

The teams will now await the 2008 Women's Soccer NCAA tournament field announcement.
