NSCAA Names Four Cardinals All-Region

Cards Fall In Penalty Kicks in ECAC Championship
The Catholic University women's soccer squad (12-3-5) took the Swarthmore Garnet (14-2-3) to a double overtime 0-0 result forcing penalty kicks to decide the East Coast Athletic Conference championship. The Garnet held a 5-3 advantage in the PK's to earn the crown and take the season series to 1-0-1 between the squads that met the first and last games of 2007. [MORE]

Catholic University to Play in ECAC Championship
The Catholic University women’s soccer team (12-3-4) upset the top-seeded Grove City College Wolverines (16-4-1) in the East Coast Athletic Conference tournament. The fifth-seeded Cardinals beat Widener on Wednesday and then took Grove City in a 1-0 decision on Saturday to advance to Sunday’s championship contest. [MORE]
