Landmark Conference announces women's indoor track poll

WASHINGTON – The Landmark Conference announced its 2012-13 women’s indoor track and field poll on Thursday and CUA checked in at number-four with 23 points. Defending conference champion Moravian claimed the top spot with 50 points. CUA opens its season this weekend at the Bow-Tie Classic in Pa.

Coming in behind Moravian in the poll was Susquehanna with 28 points. The Crusaders were then followed by Juniata (26), CUA (23), Goucher (22) and Merchant Marine Academy (15).

CUA placed third at last year’s indoor championship, with three Cardinals claiming individual titles, including current senior Laura Kinley in the mile.

The Cardinals travel to Pennsylvania on Saturday to compete in the Bow-Tie Classic on the campus of Ursinus College. Start time is set for 9 a.m.
