Landmark Conference announces women's outdoor track poll

WASHINGTON – The Landmark Conference announced its women’s outdoor track and field preseason poll on Wednesday, and CUA tied for fourth in the poll with 27 points.

CUA recently wrapped up its indoor season in late February when the Cards tied for 3rd at the Landmark indoor championship. CUA is currently preparing for its outdoor season.

The Cardinals finished 4th at last season’s outdoor championship.

Moravian was chosen atop the poll with 45 points, followed by Susquehanna with 32 points, Juniata with 28, CUA and Goucher with 27 and Merchant Marine Academy with 15.

CUA begins its outdoor season on March 22 when the Cardinals travel to the Battleground Relays in Virginia. Start time is set for 2:30 p.m.
