CUA continues indoor season at Susquehanna Invite

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – CUA continued its indoor season at the Susquehanna University Invite on Saturday. Laura Kinley and Megan Ross led the Cardinals individually with 2nd place finishes, while Keely Eckberg posted a 3rd place finish.

In the mile, Kinley (5:25.28) and Eckberg (5:28.38) finished in 2nd and 3rd, respectively, while Rebecca Radcliffe crossed in 9th place with a time of 5:40.92.

Kinley (2:29.93), Eckberg (2:35.05), Jane Marrinan (2:35.58), Kristen Rayfield (2:39.08) and Maria Docal (2:42.16) each posted top-30 finishes in the 800 meters.

Bridget Krumholz (1:03.02) and Grace Lally (1:08.09) came in 5th and 24th place, respectively, in the 400 meters, and in the 200 meters, Grace Weaver finished 7th (28.28), Krumholz crossed in 13th (28.50), Kelsely Broomfield placed 18th (29.05), Hannah Gillis was 21st (29.28) and Candace Williamson finished 28th (29.77).

CUA's 4 x 400 meter relay team finished 7th with a time of 4:33.

In the shot put, Ross placed 2nd with a throw of 37' 2.25", while Mary Clark finished 7th (35' ¼").

Gillis (15' 2.25") and Weaver (14' 10.5") finished in 9th and 10th place, respectively, in the long jump.

CUA will return to action on Saturday, February 23 when the Cardinals travel back to Selinsgrove for the 2013 Landmark Conference Indoor championship. Start time is set for 10 a.m.
