Galeano Wins Weight Throw For Third Time at Susquehanna

WASHINGTON – The Catholic University of America women's track & field team had its final tune-up meet before the Landmark Conference Championships as the Cardinals competed at the Susquehanna Invite on Saturday.

Sophomore thrower Andrea Galeano continued her impressive season as she won the weight throw for the third time with a toss of 15.66 meters. She currently owns conference and program record she set earlier this season.

Junior Kiera Lyons added a top-15 run in the mile as she crossed the finish line in 5:42.86. 

The Cards now have a week to prepare for the championship on Saturday, February 25.
