Carioto Leads Women's Track at Susquehanna Invitational

SELINSGROVE, Pa.- The CUA women’s track and field team competed in their 5th indoor meet, traveling to Selinsgrove, Pa., for the Susquehanna Invitational Saturday afternoon.

Sophomore Kelly Carioto was the lone top finisher at the meet, winning the women’s shot put with a toss of 11.76m. Carioto has consistently produced fantastic results for the Cardinals, earning a number of first and second place finishes throughout the season.

Senior Kelly Szal clinched a 15th place finish in the 55 Meter Hurdles with a time of 9.94. Freshman Meghan Dietzler earned 27th out of 56 runners in the One Mile Run in 5:47.94, while the CUA relay squad finished 9th in the 4x400 Meter Relay.

The team will return to action Saturday, February 20th, for the DeCharme Invitational set for 10 a.m.
