CUA women selected fourth in Landmark Conference track poll

WASHINGTON – The CUA women’s indoor track and field team was selected fourth in the 2010-11 Landmark Conference poll, which was announced on Friday.  The Cardinals received 26 points in the poll.

At last season’s conference indoor track championship CUA placed fourth with 51 points, while Moravian won the team title with 210 points.

Three-time defending champion Moravian secured the top spot in the poll with 44 points.  The Greyhounds were followed by Susquehanna with 38 points, Juniata with 30, CUA (26), Goucher (18) and Merchant Marine Academy (9).

CUA does not begin its indoor track season until January 23 when they compete at the Susquehanna Orange and Maroon Classic in Pennsylvania.
