Catholic Volleyball Falls at Washington College

Chestertown, Md.— The Catholic University of America volleyball team fell on the road on Wednesday night to undefeated Washington College (8-0), 3-0.

The Catholic offense could not get in gear against a big front line for Wash Coll, as they racked up 15 blocks at the net.

Eight different Cardinals registered kills, but only senior middle hitter Amy O'Connor had more than three with five to go along with three digs and a block.

Freshman libero Christina Ciola led the team with 11 digs while classmate Maria Gonzalez had a team-high 11 assists.

Catholic will look to get back on the winning track this weekend when they head to Aston, Pa., for the Neumann Knights Invitational.
