WASHINGTON- In their regular season finale the Catholic University volleyball team (17-18, 4-3 CAC) dropped three games to Gallaudet to lose the match.  This was a critical contest for conference tournament seeding since the Cardinals and Bison had been tied for third.

CAC Player of the Week Carey Anne Nassib (West Chester, Pa./Villa Maria) lived up to her weekly honor leading the Cards with 11 kills and no errors for three games.  Senior Whitney Dachelet (Anniston, Ala./Donoho) also had a strong game with eight kills.

CUA fell to the Bison 30-24, 30-24 and 30-22.  Emily McGlynn (Tallahassee, Fla./Leon) had 20 assists and Dachelet led CUA with 11 digs.  Nassib added 10 on the defensive end.

The Cards now look ahead to the CAC Tournament.  Opening round play starts next Tuesday.
