Volleyball Grabs Single Win at Susquehanna

Volleyball picks up single win at Susquehanna

Selinsgrove, Pa.-CUA women's volleyball finished its weekend tournament 1-2 after suffering losses to both Juniata and Moravian at Susquehanna University, and earning a 3-1 win over Goucher. The team is now 1-2 in conference play.

In CUA's lone win, Lynn Brown (Laurel, Md./ St. Vincent Pallotti) and Alex Min-Tun (San Jose, Calif./ Notre Dame) led the way with nine kills each. Molly Owens (Floral Park, N.Y./ Kellenberg Memorial) marked five solo blocks. Michaela Carroll (Amityville, N.Y./ Kellenberg Memorial) led both assists, with 39 and digs with 26. CUA lost the second game of the match 27-29, but handed Goucher two straight losses 25-14 and 25-19 to take their record to 1-1 in the Landmark Conference.

CUA returns to action Wednesday, September 24th against Washington (Md.) at 7 p.m. in the friendly confines of the DuFour Center.
