Volleyball Earns Win Over Washington College
WASHINGTON- After a grueling five-set match against Washington College, the CUA volleyball team pulled together for their sixth win of the season on Wednesday evening. The team moves to 6-11 on the year.
After dropping the first set to the Shorewomen, the Cardinals came back to earn a dominating 25-16 win. CUA went on an 11-0 run to begin the set, thanks to the outstanding serves of Michaela Carroll (Amityville, N.Y./Kellenberg Memorial).
In the third set of the game, the Cardinals and the Shorewomen battled back and forth for the lead. A 15-4 run proved too be to much for CUA, as Washington handed them the 17-25 loss.

Kim Ray (Chicago, Ill./Regina Dominican) recorded 13 digs, 11 kills, and two service aces in the victory.
