Mayfield leads CUA at Paul Short Run in Pa.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Led by Camelia Mayfield’s 34th
place finish, CUA came in 25th as a team at the Paul Short Run
on the campus of Lehigh University Friday. Mayfield crossed
in a time of 24:37 to lead the Cardinals.
Other Cardinals that raced on Friday included Keely Eckberg, who
placed 82nd in a time of 25:26, Kathryn Sacker, who crossed in
26:25 to place 141st, Maddie Holtz (205), Kristin Rayfield (218),
Jessica Breene (222) and Grace Lally (229).
Kutztown University captured the team crown with 69 points, with
Seton Hill next in line with 85 points. RIT (199), Goucher (235)
and Moravian (262) rounded out the top-five.
Stephanie Pryor of Seton Hill crossed in 22:52 to claim the
individual championship.
CUA will be back in action on Saturday, October 15 when the
Cardinals travel to the Hornet Harrier at Shenandoah
University. Action begins at 11 a.m.
