WASHINGTON – The CUA cross country teams will get the
championship season underway this weekend when they head to
Bethlehem, Pa. to compete at the 2011 Landmark Conference
championship. The races will be held on the campus of Lehigh
University, where CUA competed earlier this season at the Paul
Short Run.
CUA was last in action on October 15 when the Cardinals traveled
to the Gettysburg Invite to compete against a very tough field of
competitors. The men placed 25th and were led individually by

The women placed 23rd at Gettysburg and received a 59th place

Brewer, while the women finished second behind a first place
showing by Mayfield.
Last year’s men’s Landmark champion was Susquehanna,
with CUA placing eighth. On the women’s side,
Susquehanna also took the team title, while the Cardinals finished
sixth in the team standings.
