WASHINGTON – The Catholic University of America women's cross country head coach Joe Fisher has announced the Cardinals' 2017 schedule. The Cards open the year on Friday, September 1 at the Stevenson Mustang Stampede.
Catholic will have five meets before the Landmark Conference Championships at Juniata on Saturday, October 28.
"We are looking forward to a stronger team performance this season. Senior Erin McNulty and junior Theresa Matula return after a successful 2016 and will have the support of veterans and newcomers," said Fisher. "The team's experience, competitiveness and attitude will be the key to improving on last year's performance in the Landmark Conference and NCAA Regional Championships."
Juniata will host a Landmark Preview meet on Saturday, September 9, Catholic's second meet of the year.
The Cardinals will compete at Shenandoah (9/23) and Frostburg (9/30) before the NCAA South/Southeast Regional Preview at Christopher Newport (10/14).
CNU will host the Regional Championship on Saturday, November 11 prior to the NCAA Championship on Saturday, November 18, at Principia College (Ill.).
