Season in Review

MEN - Senior Chris Fox finished 15th at the CAC Cross Country Championships and was named second-team all-CAC, while junior Charles Fernandez was the top Cardinals finisher in four meets this season. The Cardinals were fifth of six teams at the CAC, sixth of nine teams at the Mason-Dixon Conference championships and 14th of 16 teams at the NCAA Division III South/Southeast Regional meet. The Cardinals won the NCAA Division III Cross Country Coaches Academic Award.

WOMEN - Senior Amy Mitson finished a spectacular season being named NCAA Division III all-South/Southeast Region, first-team all-Mason-Dixon Conference and second-team all-CAC. At the regional meet she placed 11th out of 91 runners, and narrowly missed qualifying for the NCAA Division III championships. Jenn Hess and Abby Curtin were also named second-team all-CAC. The Cardinals were fourth of six teams at the CAC championships, fourth of eight teams at the Mason-Dixon Conference championships and ninth of 12 teams at the NCAA Division III South/Southeast Regional meet. The women also won the NCAA Division III Cross Country Coaches Academic Award.
