Yates, Cards win York Invitational Sept. 21, 2002

YORK, Pa. - Freshman Rachel Yates (Wilton, Maine/Mount Blue) took first place for the second week in a row. This time she was the individual winner in the York College Invitational, leading Catholic to a first-place finish.

Sophomore Kathleen Hazlett (Island Heights, N.J./Monsignor Donovan) and junior Rebecca Freyvogel (Pittsburgh, Pa./Oakland Catholic) placed in the top 10, placing seventh and ninth, respectively.

Catholic returns to action next Saturday in the George Washington Invitational in Fairfax.
