Women's Cross Country Wins York College Invitational
Jenna Hackett finishes in first place

YORK, Pa. - Coming in at a time of 20:10, sophomore Jenna Hackett (Fort Collins, Colo./Fort Collins) won the York College Invitational Saturday in York, Pa.  The Cardinal runners finished one and two as well as placing four more in the top 25.

Soon after Hackett crossed the finish line, Mary Shashaty (Scotch Plains, N.J./Scotch Plains-Fanwood) completed her race to take second place in a time of 20:15.  Also in the top ten was Tara Wilson (Shelter Island Heights, N.Y./Shelter Island) who took seventh with a 20:52.

Rounding out the top 25 for the Cardinals was Remy Ball (Newtown, Conn./Newtown) at 10^th running a 20:57, Sam McClellan (Union Town, Ohio/St. Thomas) just behind Ball clocking in at 21:07, Teresa Macia (Stirling, N.J./Watchung Hills) at 12th and Bridgette Smith (Cranbury, N.J.) taking 20^th in a time of 22:05.

The squad will be competing at a tri-meet in Grantham, Pa., next weekend against Messiah, Gettysburg and Juniata.
