CUA takes first place for second meet in a row
TOWSON, Md. - The Catholic University women's cross country squad won their second meet in a row giving them momentum for the upcoming Landmark Conference Championship. The Cardinals scored 68 points to take first out of nine teams at the Goucher Invitational. What made the win even sweeter is was the presence of five conference opponents who will be at the same course two weeks from now for the championship.

Mary Shashaty (Scotch Plains, N.J./Scotch Plains-Fanwood) was third for the Cardinals running a 25:50.22 which was good enough for 14th place.
