Women's Cross Country Finishes 7th at Regionals

Led by Remy Ball (Newtown, Conn./Newtown) the Cardinals finished one point out of sixth place at the NCAA Regionals held at Texas Lutheran.

Ball, who was named an all-region athlete, finished in 23:53, good for 25th place overall.  She averaged a 6:24 mile.  Following shortly behind Ball were Jenna Hackett (Fort Collins, Colo./Fort Collins), and Mary Shashasty (Scotch Plains, N.J./Scotch Plains-Fanwood).  Hackett finished in 24:26, while Shashasty finished three seconds later, the times were good enough for 36th and 39th overall.
