Women's Cross Country Earns 4th at Landmark Meet
WASHINGTON- Catholic University's women's cross country team earned a fourth place finish at the Landmark Conference Meet in Washington, D.C., Saturday afternoon. The squad completed the course in 2:10:43.00, averaging a time of 26:08.60 per runner.
Among the top finishers for the Cards were Remy Ball and Madeleine Cronan. Ball earned 12th place, and completed the 6K in 25:41. Cronan finished the race in 26:05, earning her 15th place in the meet. Katie Sacker and Sarah Rosenbloom rounded out the top finishes for CUA. Sacker finished in 26:09, while Rosenbloom completed the course in 26:36.
Scranton University and Susquehanna University earned first and second place finishes at the meet. Juniata took third, followed by Catholic, Moravian, Goucher, and Drew.
Catholic University will now look to compete in the Landmark Championship Meet, to kick off on Saturday, November 1st. Last year, the Cardinals took third at the competition, and will look to wrestle the title away from conference foe Susquehanna University.
