Cardinals earn All-Academic team honors from USTFCCCA
WASHINGTON – The CUA women's cross country team recently earned 2010 Division III All-Academic status from the USTFCCCA (United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association). To qualify as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country Team, the team must have a cumulative team grade point average of 3.10 or better and have compiled a score at their respective NCAA regional championship.
The Cardinals earned a 3.50 team grade point average during the 2010 season and finished an impressive 11th at the regional championships, held in Memphis, Tenn. Madeline Cronan was named to the all-region team after finishing 28th in the race with a time of 23:22, while Camelia Mayfield placed in the top-50 after crossing in 24:09.
