Jesse Fuca is in his first season as an assistant for the CUA
women’s cross country and track and field programs, in
addition to serving as sprint coach for the men’s track and
field program. He brings a high level of experience and
competitive success to the Cardinals.
A two-time track All-American in high school, Fuca won a pair of
New York state championships and then headed to Binghamton
University in New York.
In college, Fuca qualified for the IC4A championships a total of
six times, was named to the All-Conference Teams twice, won an
individual conference championship, and broke the school record in
the 60 meter hurdles. He was also selected to serve as
captain for three consecutive years.
Outside of track and field, Fuca achieved Dean’s List honors
on numerous occasions and he graduated with a grade point average
above 3.5.
Fuca recently completed training for his USATF Level I coaching
certification and he has also served as a volunteer assistant coach
with the Warwick Valley High School track and field program.
