      <description>On Tuesday, April 16, Yasmeen Ajdari (women&#x2019;s lacrosse), Caroline DiBartolomeo (women&#x2019;s lacrosse) and Laura Kinley (women&#x2019;s cross country/track and field) were honored by Catholic University at the annual Cardinal Leadership Celebration. Ajdari was named the Mary J. O&#x2019;Dwyer Flynn Memorial Award winner, DiBartolomeo received the John J. Convey Award and Kinley was honored with the Martha Comiskey Memorial Award.</description>

      <title>Landmark Conference announces Fall Academic Honor Roll</title>

      <description>The Landmark Conference announced the 2012 Fall Academic Honor Roll on Tuesday, and CUA had 33 student-athletes honored.  The honor roll recognizes fall student-athletes of sophomore standing or older with a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher.  In all, 235 student-athletes from around the conference were honored.</description>

Rebecca Radcliffe led the Cardinals with a 16th place finish, with a time of 23:26.31 while Keely Eckberg, who finished in 23:36.52, placed 20th and Laura Kinley finished 28th (23:52.02). All three runners earned All-Region honors.</description>

      <title>Women's cross country voted best in sportsmanship in Landmark</title>

The conference&#x2019;s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) created a Sportsmanship Cup in the fall of 2009 and by the end of the academic year, one Landmark institution will be awarded the trophy.</description>

CUA scored 153 points to place sixth in the team standings, defeating the likes of Delaware State, Coppin State and Howard in the process.</description>

CUA totaled 28 points led by Camelia Mayfield who finished first with a time of 25:07.</description>

      <title>Landmark Conference announces 2011 preseason poll</title>

      <description>The CUA women&#x2019;s cross country team was selected sixth in the Landmark Conference preseason poll, it was announced on Thursday. The Cardinals received 34 points in the poll, which is voted upon by the league&#x2019;s head coaches and sports information directors.  Juniata is on top of the poll with 71 points.</description>

      <title>Cardinals earn All-Academic team honors from USTFCCCA</title>

      <description>The CUA women&#x2019;s cross country team recently earned 2010 Division III All-Academic status from the USTFCCCA.  To qualify as an All-Academic Cross Country Team, the team must have a cumulative team grade point average of 3.10 or better and have compiled a score at their respective NCAA regional championship.</description>
